Top 5 Defensive players at each position

I gave my top 5 on offense yesterday today is the defensive side of the ball.

Interior Lineman NT/DT: Haloti Ngata
                                       Ndamujong Suh
                                       Vince Wilfork
                                        BJ Raji
                                        Cullen Jenkins
Suh is nasty and quickly becoming one of the best DLineman in football period.  However, he is not on the level of Ngata just yet.  Ngata not only plugs the middle and  is an excellent run stopper. Furthermore, he demands a double team which then opens up Ray Lewis and other guys on blitzes.
Exterior Lineman DE: Jared Allen
                                  Dwight Freeney
                                 Julius Peppers
                                 Robert Mathis
                                 Osi Umenyiora
There is something about the mullet man that is just so tough.  Mr. Allen is a high motor and just gets to the QB relentlessly.  The Vikings have not been doing too good this year but Allen has 11.5 sacks. WOW!!!!  Freeney and Mathis are still very strong in Indy, and freeney's spin move is still one of the best moves in football.
ILB/MLB: Ray Lewis
                 Brian Urlacher
                 James Farrior
                 Patrick Willis
                 Curtis Loften
This was really hard, as there are alot of really good ILB out there.  RAY RAY and Urlacher continue to be the best in the NFL, although Farrior is nipping on the heels and WIllis is very very good.  The surprising name on this list is Curtis Loften, he is tackling machine and can go sideline to sideline.  HE is quickly making a name for him self.
OLB: Demarcus Ware
          Clay Matthews
          Lance Briggs
           Terrell Suggs
           Lamar Woodley
The OLB is a very tricky position.  On one hand they are asked to cover TE and sometimes slot WRS.  On the other hand they are asked to put there hand in the dirt and rush the passer.  D. Ware and C Matthews are absloute monsters at this.  Ware can cause havoc from wherever he lines up and Matthews, just ask Matt Ryan about Matthews in the playoff game last year.  I think he lived in Atlantas backfield.  Briggs is solid and compliments Urlacher in Chicago just fine.
CB: Darrelle Revis
       Nnamdi Asomugh
       Asante Samuel
       Charles Woodson
       Champ Bailey
I have 2 wiley vets on this list in Woodson and Bailey.  They may not be as quick as they were a few years ago, but this guys are still super tough and can lock down anyone.
Safety: Ed Reed
           Troy Polamalu
          Antonie Bethea
           Morgan Burnett
           Kenny Phillips
The first 2 guys are head and shuolders above everyone in the league.  Dont get me wrong Bethea and company are good but Reed and Polamalu are REALLY good.  On top of that, both have a great deal of toughness. If either are no on the feild there teams respecively suffer.
