NC State

So my latest trip was to Raliegh on Saturday October 1st for Ga. Tech and NC State.  I had an absolute blast.  NC. State is an amzing place to watch a football game.  Sure, there was only 55,811 in attendence,  but after talking to several NC State fans, this crowd was rocking.  One thing I noticed about NC State is the stadium had a fair like atmosphere.  I do not mean this in a bad way, I actually thought it was really cool.  What I mean by the fair like atmosphere , is most stadiums are enclosed and have, for a lack of a better term, rooms in which they sell vendors and souviners from.  At State, it was all open, and you had tables that were set up for the souveniers and people set up in the middle selling cokes and food.
If you like cowboy boots in dresses than you will love this place, as everywhere I turned I saw cowboy boots, and some mighty fine cowboy boots at this. WOW!!
As for the game, 45-35 does not do justice to the game. NC. State did not get a few questionable PI calls on the first drive and punt the ball.  Tech marches down the field and scores, they actually score on there first 3 possesions of the first half and go up 21-0.  NC. State scores late in the 1st half to cut the lead to 21-7 and if not for a holding call, which I think was bogus, it would have been 28-7 Tech, with the ball coming out at the half.  However it was 21-7 and the offense that looked so good in the first half came out spitting and sputtering.  This alowed NC. State to cut it to 21-14.  but in typical Paul Johnson fashion, tech scores 21 points in 1:44 to put it away early in the 4th quarter, making it 42-14.  Although things got alittle shakey late with NCS scoring to touches in the final minute to cut it to 45-35, I would say it was too little too late.  With Tech winning 45-35.  Ga. Tech moves to 5-0 with a really good chance to make back to the ACC Championship game in Char.  But before they can do this, they have to get past Maryland, Vir, Mia, Clem, VT, Duke and UGA.  No easy task at that.
